A one-page grant application form is filled out at any time during the school year and sent to Teachers' Aid, Inc.

The application process

  • Applications are signed by the requesting teacher and the school Principal.
  • Applications are reviewed by a Committee made up of a diverse group of community representatives.
  • The Committee reviews all applications and awards grants four times a year in January, April, September and November
  • A response is forwarded to the requesting teacher within two weeks of the award.
  • Grant funds must be used during the same school year.
  • A short report is required from the teacher at the end of the project that describes how the funds were used accompanied by receipts.
  • Unused funds must be returned to Teachers' Aid, Inc.
